These articles range from design, technique, to bonsai horticulture. Other features include a forum, state of the art chat facility with unparalleled imaging. The Vault hosts Round Table discussions as well as various study groups that deal with different species of trees. We also felt the Vault wouldn't be complete with out a gallery of trees.

The "Vault" came about as an idea during many conversations over the years. Be it in a casual conversation, on a forum, in a chat room, or at real live get together. Now this idea has finally born fruit.
Enthusiasts were looking for consistent reliable answers to their questions that they could reference easily. All wanting to know one thing or another in regards to improving their trees.
So it was decided to make an archive of articles, and visual aids of techniques that have survived the test of time. Also to give a platform to new and up coming artists and authors to express their views in this constantly evolving art form. Quite simply put, to try and give answers and a reference point to return to easily time and time again.
A final note about this site. When this site was created. It was created not with the intention of replacing or competing with any other bonsai site on the web. They all have a place and serve a purpose. Our mission at Bonsai Vault is to give you high quality, informed answers to your questions.
